We were able to see a most unbelievable site last Friday when we visited the Met. A Roman made mosaic floor from 300AD that was excavated from a street in Lod, Israel. The amazing feat of preserving and moving the floor is available in the video below. Watch it, it is a real treat. The floor was incredible to see in person.
