A Greek Adventure in Rhode Island

In January we received an invitation to stay with our dear friend Joan Macomber (Uncle Brian’s Mom) at her gorgeous home in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.  She recently returned from an amazing trip to Greece, the land of her ancestry, and wanted to share her photos and stories with us.  We had a delightful time looking at old family photos, learning Greek words she remembers from her childhood and of course cooking a fabulous Greek meal together.  We dined on spinach pie, moussaka, Greek salad and Baklava.  It was a wonderful snowy evening and we had an amazing time.  We learned a lot about Greece and cannot wait to travel there ourselves one day.  Please enjoy the slideshow, the hauntingly beautiful music is a Greek lullabye.
