Horus is the god of the sky. He is the son of Isis and Osiris. His only recorded form is “Horus the falcon”. Horus is also known as Nekheny meaning falcon in ancient Egyptian and his only sibling is Anubis the protecter god. Horus was usually Egypt’s patron god and also the god of the kings. He is also known mostly for his symbol “the eye of Horus”. Horus was worshipped by the city Nekhen which means hawk, But later on he was identified as a falcon. Horus is widely known as a hero because he destroyed the evil brother of Osiris, Set.
